Cooperation Platform: SPB (Russia)

SPB TV is a world-leading provider of end-to-end OTT TV, Internet Protocol TV and mobile TV solutions. It serves large network operators and media companies, such as Amedia, Tele2, StarHub and Beeline. A total of 40 million audiences around the globe watch OTT TV via SPB TV.

WingsMedia has developed a stable partnership with SPB TV since 2015, through which SMG established a self-owned distribution channel through SPB’s Content Store to broadcast its high-quality contents on SPB’s overseas platform and extend coverage of its productions. At the China-Russia Media Forum held in July, 2017, WingsMedia furthered its cooperation with SPB TV to offer all programmes of Yicai TV, a TV channel operating under SMG, on SPB TV’s new media platform, making its financial and economic news programmes accessible to Russian audience.
