Cooperation Platform: Dimsum (Malaysia)

Dimsum is an online streaming platform offering subion video-on-demand (VOD) under Star Media Group Bhd, one of the largest Malaysian media conglomerates covering all promotion channels in Malaysia. According to the cooperation agreement, SMG will offer its programmes under a designated section on its OTT platform, which is supported by the strong promotional capacity of Star Media Group Bhd, as an effective channel to further enhance its overseas presence.

SMG Section

The SMG Section offers a rich portfolio of programmes, including variety shows, game entertainment shows, talk shows, musical programmes, reality TV programmes and documentaries. Nine programmes are now available on Dimsum, including The Next, Go Fighting!, Flowers on Trip, Talented Singer (II) and Super Asia.

Dimsum will translate and sub these programmes for English- and Malay-speaking audience, so that they can reach a broader audience with different language backgrounds.
